Accessibility Statement

Korrus, Inc. is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. korrus.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. Remediation of the items listed below is in progress.

Known limitations

Search page and legal page. On the search results page, the "Products / Pages" tabs are a theme component whose tab markup is not fully recognised by assistive technology; the results themselves are fully navigable and the same products can be reached from the menu. On the Legal page, one scrolling text panel cannot be focused by keyboard; its content is also available on the linked policy pages.

Live chat. The chat button in the bottom corner of each page is provided by a third party (Dialpad). It can be opened with the keyboard; the conversation window itself is the provider's and may not fully support every screen reader. You can also reach us by e-mail using the address below.

Reviews, pop-ups and forms. Customer reviews (Junip), the discount pop-up (Alia), the newsletter sign-up (Klaviyo) and the contact form's spam protection (hCaptcha) are provided by third parties. We pass accessibility feedback about them to those providers.

Checkout. Checkout is provided by Shopify and is maintained to Shopify's accessibility standards, which we do not control.

Video. Videos hosted on YouTube rely on YouTube's caption support; contact us if a caption is missing or inaccurate.

Technical specifications

Accessibility of korrus.com relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer: HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, JavaScript. These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

Assessment approach

Korrus assessed the accessibility of korrus.com by self-evaluation: automated testing (axe-core) of 51 pages, including the home page, product, collection, contact and campaign pages, at desktop and phone screen widths, together with manual keyboard testing of the site's navigation, chat button and add-to-cart controls. A screen-reader walkthrough and a 200% zoom check are scheduled as part of the ongoing review.
